    JK Group USA is a full-scale video production company specializing in crafting compelling visual stories. I was tasked with designing both the brand logo and website, creating a unified identity that represents their cinematic storytelling, professionalism, and passion for high-quality video production.

    The challenge was to craft a bold, cinematic, and modern look that works equally well on print, digital, and web platforms.

I was tasked with designing both the brand logo and website, creating a unified identity that represents their cinematic storytelling, professionalism, and passion for high-quality video production.

The challenge was to craft a bold, cinematic, and modern look that works equally well on print, digital, and web platforms.

 

Logo Design

My Design Approach

I began by analyzing JK Group’s brand values—creativity, cinematic excellence, and professionalism. I wanted the logo to feel dynamic and cinematic, while also being clean and versatile.

Research & Inspiration – I studied movie production logos, film industry icons, and modern minimalist styles to find the right balance between cinematic appeal and corporate professionalism.

Sketching Concepts – Initial sketches explored film reels, play buttons, and abstract cinema elements. Eventually, the idea of merging the J into a film strip felt the most natural and storytelling-driven.

Typography Exploration – For “K,” I tested multiple modern fonts with sharp angular edges to reflect strength and futuristic vision.

Refinement – After multiple iterations, I combined the film strip J and the bold K into a strong, cohesive mark.

 

Color Theroy

Deep Maroon (#86333d) & Gold (#f39e1d) – Evoke passion, storytelling, and creative excellence.

Blue & Red (USA Theme) – Subtle accents that tie into the company’s American identity.

 

Outcome

The final logo successfully communicates cinematic storytelling, creativity, and professionalism. It works across different mediums—from video watermarks to corporate stationery—ensuring consistent brand recognition.
